Biography
Lloyd Johnson Sarber III is a shareholder in Carr Allison’s Jacksonville (FL) office. Johnny’s practice focuses on civil trial defense in the area of commercial motor vehicle transportation law (including tractor trailer, passenger bus and other large vehicle accidents). He also represents clients in matters involving premises liability, municipal liability and bad faith.
Johnny is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the US District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Johnny is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association where he served as president (2011-2012), the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (Board of Directors 2015-2023) and the Trucking Industry Defense Association. He has also been included in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2021.
Born in Memphis (TN), Johnny grew up in Virginia where he attended Washington & Lee University (VA) earning his undergraduate degree, cum laude, as well as his Juris Doctor. He practiced law in Virginia for several years before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1997.
