Biography
Lloyd Johnson Sarber III is a shareholder with Carr Allison in the Jacksonville, FL office. Johnny’s practice focuses on civil trial defense in the area of commercial motor vehicle transportation law (including tractor trailer, passenger bus and other large vehicle accidents). He also represents clients in matters involving premises liability, municipal liability, bad faith and products liability.
Johnny is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Johnny is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association where he served as president (2011-2012), the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel (Board of Directors since 2015), the Transportation Lawyers Association and the Trucking Industry Defense Association.
Born in Memphis, TN, Johnny grew up in Virginia where he attended Washington & Lee University earning his undergraduate degree, cum laude, as well as his Juris Doctor. He practiced law in Virginia for several years before moving to Jacksonville, FL in 1997. Johnny and his wife Grace have three children.
