Kyle T. Mordew is a partner in Hahn Loeser’s Naples office and serves as the firm’s Ohio and Florida liaison for the Trust and Estates Practice Group.
Kyle focuses his practice in estate planning and estate and trust administration. Kyle drafts and implements tax-efficient estate plans for his clients, including basic estate planning documents like wills and revocable trusts to more nuanced estate planning documents like SLATs, GRATs, ILITs, and IDGTs. Kyle’s practice additionally includes representing fiduciaries in the administration of complex estates and trusts and the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Kyle also has charitable planning experience with drafting and implementing charitable trusts such as CRUTs, CRATs, and CLATs, as well as establishing and representing private foundations.
Kyle also has experience assisting clients with Florida domicile planning, in particular establishing Florida homestead and terminating the clients’ existing domicile. In particular, being licensed in both Ohio and Florida, Kyle frequently assists Ohio residents transition their domicile to Florida.
Outside of the office, Kyle is an avid golfer and tennis player with his wife, and is a loyal Cleveland and Ohio State sports fan.
