Attorney Kyle Zrenda is a Director in Suisman Shapiro’s Civil Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on personal injury law. He represents individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of motorists, property owners, medical providers, and other parties, advocating for clients in Connecticut state and federal courts.
Attorney Zrenda also represents clients in matters arising from injuries at major gaming facilities, including the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos, through his admissions to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Court and the Mohegan Gaming Disputes Court. In addition, he is an experienced appellate advocate who has successfully handled appeals before both the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court, demonstrating a strong command of complex legal issues and appellate procedure.
Prior to joining Suisman Shapiro, Attorney Zrenda practiced at a New York insurance defense firm, where he represented defendants in construction accident, premises liability, and medical malpractice claims. This background provides him with valuable insight into defense strategies, which he now leverages to effectively advocate for injured plaintiffs. Earlier in his career, he served as a clerk and law clerk for the Connecticut Judicial Branch, gaining firsthand experience with court operations and judicial decision-making.
Attorney Zrenda graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2013, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Boston College in 2010.
His professional excellence has been recognized consistently by his peers and the legal community. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for eight consecutive years, an honor awarded to a small percentage of attorneys in each state. He has also been selected to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2021 and received New England Legal Award’s “New Leaders in the Law” recognition in 2023.
