Kyle earned his Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1989, his Master of Business Administration from St. Edward's University in 1986, and his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas A&M University in 1981. He served honorably in the United States Army as a Captain.
