Kristie Schrader is a trial attorney at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers in Jacksonville, Florida, with more than 25 years of litigation experience. Her practice focuses on Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs, representing individuals and families affected by serious injuries, trucking accidents, motor vehicle collisions, and wrongful death claims throughout Florida.
Kristie’s legal career has evolved with purpose. After many years representing insurance companies, commercial trucking companies, and corporations, a personal family tragedy in 2021 changed her perspective and strengthened her commitment to helping injured individuals and their loved ones. She now dedicates her practice to advocating for plaintiffs and pursuing accountability on behalf of those harmed by negligence.
Before joining Baggett Law, Kristie was a partner at Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., where she handled complex civil litigation matters involving trucking and transportation claims, insurance defense, and corporate litigation. She also served as in-house trial counsel for Nationwide Insurance Company. This background gives her valuable insight into how insurance carriers and defense firms evaluate and litigate injury claims, allowing her to develop effective strategies for her clients.
Kristie has extensive courtroom and trial experience across Florida. Clients appreciate her clear communication, practical guidance, and steady approach during difficult times. She works closely with each client to understand the impact an injury has had on their life and to pursue fair compensation for medical expenses, lost income, pain and suffering, and other damages.
Originally from northern Alabama, Kristie earned her law degree from the University of Alabama in 1999 before relocating to Jacksonville, where she has lived ever since. Outside the office, she enjoys supporting her three children at athletic events and spending time with her family.
