Kristen Louie

Kristen Louie’s practice focuses on commercial banking and financial services, emphasizing lending transactions. She has experience advising financial institutions, private lenders, and borrowers on a range of bilateral, syndicated, and multi-jurisdictional financings, including real estate, construction, and acquisition financing, as well as CMHC-insured financings.

Kristen obtained her Bachelor of Nursing in 2013 and worked for eight years as a Registered Nurse, primarily caring for patients in the intensive care unit. In 2019, she earned her Juris Doctor and then articled and practiced at the Calgary office of an international law firm prior to joining Miller Thomson.

Kristen is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
