Kristen C. Carr

Kristen Carr is a Senior Associate in Varghese Summersett’s Family Law Division, where she represents clients in divorce, child custody, property division, adoption, and other complex family law matters. Having handled hundreds of family law cases, Kristen has extensive experience navigating matters through negotiation, mediation, and trial. She combines a thoughtful, client-centered approach with strong courtroom advocacy, tailoring her strategy to each family’s unique circumstances and goals.

A North Texas native, Kristen graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University, where she was the highest-ranking graduate in her class, before earning her law degree from Texas A&M School of Law. Her legal practice includes a particular focus on protective orders and adoptions. Through protective order cases, she helps individuals and families seek safety and protection from family violence; through adoption work, she helps guide families through the legal process of growing their families.
