Klay McDowall assists clients through all stages of real estate transactions with a particular focus on acquisition, capital structuring, development, leasing, and sales.
While in law school, Klay interned with the in-house counsel of a large government contractor where he helped draft and negotiate deals related to the company’s transactions with suppliers, intellectual property, and joint ventures. Klay then worked at the Consumer Unit of the Colorado Legal Services where he helped clients facing bankruptcy and debt collection. He also worked on the Colorado Technology Law Journal where he helped review and publish articles on topics relating to the intersection of law and technology. Further, Klay enjoyed being a new student mentor who helped new law students learn how to navigate law school and the internship process.
