Kimia practices litigation with a focus on bankruptcy and insolvency matters. She has experience advising clients on a range of disputes and has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal.
Kimia’s practice spans a variety of civil litigation matters. She is a member of both the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Group and the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group at Lawson Lundell. Her background includes matters involving creditors’ rights, insolvency proceedings, and regulatory and administrative disputes.
Kimia obtained her J.D. from Thompson Rivers University, where she earned Dean’s List recognition and received multiple academic awards. During her studies, she co-authored a chapter on the Supreme Court of Canada in Constitutional Law and Precedent: International Perspectives on Case-Based Reasoning.
