Awarded Practice Areas
Biography
Kimberly is a member of Gordon Feinblatt's Intellectual Property practice where she advises clients on a wide range of intellectual property and related business matters. Her work includes trademark and copyright issues, licensing arrangements, technology and software matters, the application of artificial intelligence, advertising and social media concerns, and general business counseling such as entity formation and contract review.
A significant portion of Kim’s practice centers on trademark strategy and protection. She works with clients at every stage of the trademark lifecycle, from evaluating potential marks and managing domestic and international filings to maintaining registrations and enforcing trademark rights. She regularly helps clients develop practical approaches to safeguarding their brands in the marketplace.
Kim has substantial experience resolving trademark disputes, often achieving favorable outcomes through negotiation of coexistence, consent, and licensing agreements. When disputes cannot be resolved informally, she represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also advises on domain name disputes, including matters arising under the UDRP and the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. In addition, Kim is involved in litigation regarding intellectual property, and in particular, trademark and copyright infringement cases in federal courts when litigation is needed.
