Kimberley “Kim” Bufton is a lawyer with McLeod Law LLP in Calgary, Alberta. With more than 25 years of litigation experience, she represents individuals and families in matters involving Personal Injury Litigation, including serious injury claims and medical malpractice litigation. Her practice includes cases involving traumatic brain injuries, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, and medical negligence. Kim has experience in elder abuse cases and assaults. In addition, Kim represents individuals in insurance coverage claims for life, disability, property, and other policies.

Before focusing on representing injured plaintiffs, Kim spent many years acting for insurance companies in litigation matters. She now draws on that background to assist clients pursuing compensation after serious accidents, injuries, and losses. Her litigation experience includes appearances before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Kim advises clients throughout Calgary and across Alberta in a range of personal injury and insurance-related matters. Her practice includes motor vehicle accident claims, long-term disability disputes, insurance litigation, medical malpractice claims, and complex injury litigation. She is committed to providing practical guidance and clear communication throughout the litigation process.
