Kian Tamaddoni

Kian Tamaddoni has been an attorney with Benedon & Serlin LLP since 2020 and focuses his practice on Appellate Practice and Commercial Litigation. Based in Woodland Hills, California, Kian has built his career around civil appeals and complex litigation matters. His professional connection to the firm began during his college years, when he worked as a law clerk during summer breaks, an experience that helped shape his long-term commitment to appellate advocacy.

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, Kian joined a major international law firm, where he worked on multi-district litigation involving marketing and sales practices, as well as product liability claims. Drawn back to appellate work, he returned to Benedon & Serlin LLP and has since devoted his practice to civil appeals and related litigation strategy. Kian approaches each matter with careful evaluation, practical judgment, and thoughtful legal analysis tailored to the specific issues on appeal.

Kian’s appellate experience covers a broad range of substantive areas, including family law, personal injury, contracts, real estate, and probate, as well as matters involving civil practice and procedure. His work has included appearances before the California Supreme Court, the California Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Through this experience, he has developed a strong command of appellate procedure and the substantive legal issues that frequently arise in civil appeals.

In 2024–2025, Kian was selected as a fellow of the California Academy of Appellate Lawyers during the program’s inaugural year. He is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and he regularly collaborates with trial counsel on appellate strategy and post-trial matters across a variety of civil cases.
