Ken Beallor is a partner in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Torkin Manes LLP in Toronto, Ontario. His practice focuses on Commercial Leasing Law and Real Estate Law, with experience advising clients on the sale, acquisition, financing, and leasing of commercial properties.
Ken represents developers, retailers, landlords, and tenants in matters involving retail, office, and industrial properties. His work includes negotiating and drafting commercial leases for build-to-suit office and industrial projects, shopping centre leasing arrangements, and sale-leaseback transactions. He also advises clients on construction-related agreements connected to commercial real estate developments, including the negotiation of construction contracts for major mixed-use projects in downtown Toronto.
Before joining Torkin Manes LLP, Ken served as corporate counsel to The TDL Group Ltd. (Tim Hortons), where he managed the company’s real estate legal department. His in-house experience provides clients with practical insight into the legal and business considerations involved in commercial real estate transactions.
