Biography
Kelly St. John is a dedicated personal injury attorney at Dipasquale Moore, where she applies her extensive background in personal injury, criminal defense, municipal prosecution, ordinance drafting, and contract review to diligently pursue positive outcomes for her clients.
Growing up in Manhattan, Kansas, Kelly was inspired to pursue a legal career after witnessing the challenges faced by friends and family due to divorce and custody issues. Although her interest did not specifically lie in family law, she found her calling in making a difference in other legal fields.
Kelly began her legal journey as a criminal defense paralegal and later gained significant experience clerking for a judge at Jackson County Courthouse in Kansas City. Her background in criminal defense honed her research skills, which she leverages effectively in her personal injury practice.
At Dipasquale Moore, Kelly approaches each client with compassion and commitment, taking a personal interest in every case she handles. Her investigative approach includes a thorough assessment of the situation's details, seeking crucial information to strengthen her clients' cases. She also leads the firm's Topeka office.
After high school in Meriden, Kansas, Kelly attended Washburn University for her bachelor's degree and then pursued her legal education at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. Now residing in Olathe, she continues to be an active member of the community.
Kelly belongs to several professional organizations, including the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City. She participated in the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy and contributes to the community by volunteering at the association's annual telethon, assisting the public with legal inquiries.
She serves on The Missouri Bar’s Young Lawyers’ Section Council for District 3 (Jackson County, Missouri) and engages in charitable efforts for organizations like Hope House, Wayside Waifs, and Missouri Pitbull Rescue.
Outside the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with her dog at the local bark park, traveling, playing softball, participating in a bowling league, and enjoying recreational sand volleyball. Although a dedicated Denver Broncos fan, she frequently attends games with her Chiefs season tickets.
