Kelly LeBlanc

Kelly has a longstanding career in the legal profession, spanning over four decades. She is licensed to practice law in five jurisdictions and has advocated for litigants within both state and federal courts. Her experience includes serving as an Administrative Health Law Judge with the Department of Health and working as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in Pierce County before becoming Senior Counsel at Envision Family Law.

In her role as a GAL, Kelly played a crucial part in many child custody cases, being regularly cross-examined in contested family law proceedings. She brings significant trial experience, assisting both as a witness and advocate.

During her tenure as a Health Law Judge at the Department of Health, Kelly managed licensing and disciplinary proceedings concerning medical professionals under the Uniform Disciplinary Act. She was responsible for evidentiary rulings to ensure fairness and integrity in judicial conduct.

Kelly’s experience has given her insights from both sides of the courtroom. Her meticulous preparation allows her to defend her work and recommendations thoroughly. Additionally, her time as GAL offers her a distinctive perspective when preparing cases for her clients.

Kelly provides guidance on sensitive issues like domestic violence, chemical dependency, and complex medical or mental health challenges. She is knowledgeable about programs through DSHS, JBLM Family Advocacy, as well as a network of private resources that support families and children facing difficult circumstances.

A resident of Tacoma, Washington since 1995, Kelly has raised six children and now enjoys life as a grandparent. She and her husband are avid cooks, with Kelly jesting, "I enjoy cooking even more when he does it." She treasures time spent hosting family gatherings, camping, running, hiking, bicycling, socializing with friends, or indulging in a good book.
