  • D'Attilo v. Viscarello
Medical malpractice case against an obstetrician for birth injuries. The jury awarded $58.6 million to the plaintiffs, the highest medical malpractice verdict in Connecticut
  • Lathan v. Bridgeport Hospital
Medical malpractice case against Bridgeport Hospital for an overdose of Lovenox, an anticoagulant medication. The jury awarded $9.3 million to the plaintiff.
  • Curran v. Kroll
A medical malpractice case against an internist. The judge directed a verdict against the plaintiff at trial. Both the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts agreed that doing so was error, and sent the case back for a new trial. This case made important law for plaintiffs regarding the use of inferences to meet the burden of proof.
  • Earlington v. Anastasi
A medical malpractice case against an obstetrician for birth injuries relating to a shoulder dystocia. The jury awarded $2.7 million, the highest verdict for a shoulder dystocia injury in Connecticut.
