Katherine “Katie” Sepcich Drummond is an attorney in the New Orleans, Louisiana office of The Bowling Law Firm. Her practice focuses on pharmacy error, personal injury, and medical malpractice litigation. Katie represents clients in matters involving Medical Malpractice Law - Defendants, Medical Malpractice Law - Plaintiffs, and Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs.
Katie is admitted to practice in Louisiana and is licensed in all federal courts in Louisiana as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Her work involves assisting individuals and organizations with complex injury and healthcare-related claims.
Before joining The Bowling Law Firm APLC in January 2023, Katie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Donald “Chick” L. Foret in the 24th Judicial District Court for Jefferson Parish. She also previously served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, where she gained experience observing appellate and trial-level proceedings.
Katie earned her law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While there, she concentrated her studies in civil law and also obtained a certificate in common law.
During law school, Katie was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and an active participant in advocacy programs. She was a member of the Moot Court program and received Loyola’s 2019 Best Brief Award. She also participated in Loyola’s Trial Advocacy Program and received the Best Opening Statement award at the 2019 Trial Advocacy Intramural Competition.
Prior to attending law school, Katie worked in a corporate legal role in Austin, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Global Studies with a minor in European Studies.
Today, Katie represents clients from the firm’s New Orleans office in litigation involving medical malpractice, pharmacy error, and personal injury claims throughout Louisiana.
