Kathy Milenkovski is an attorney with the Columbus, Ohio office of Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, where she focuses her attention on environmental matters, in particular, air pollution permitting and compliance, as well as renewable energy and climate change regulation. A 1994 summa cum laude graduate of Capital University Law School, Ms. Milenkovski draws on her background as a chemical engineer (The Ohio State University, B.S.Ch.E. 1989) in assisting clients in the chemical, petroleum, utility, manufacturing and mining industries with permitting and enforcement matters. Ms. Milenkovski has extensive experience with construction permits, including major new source review for prevention of significant deterioration, as well as Title V operating permits. She has successfully challenged unreasonable permit terms and conditions before courts and administrative tribunals in both Ohio and West Virginia and has also defended permits from attack by citizens groups.
