Kara Eileen Cheever

Kara Cheever is a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has represented clients in federal and state courts in a variety of complex civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on consumer and product liability actions.

Kara is committed to pro bono work. Among other things, Kara has successfully represented plaintiffs at trial for wage-and-hour violations, single mothers in child custody and support proceedings, and undocumented women seeking temporary visas pursuant to the Violence Against Women Act.
