Kalen Oram is a corporate/commercial associate in the firm’s Regina office, advising a variety of businesses on all types of Corporate and Commercial matters, with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions, Secured Lending, Corporate Governance, and Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions.
Kalen’s corporate practice includes working with companies in a wide range of industries and sectors. He provides guidance on structuring and facilitating share or asset transactions, structuring commercial leasing arrangements, as well as assisting clients in finance transactions. Kalen’s experience allows him to recognize issues and provide practical solutions to help clients achieve their desired outcome.
Kalen provides assistance in all aspects of corporate structuring and governance. He has experience forming corporations, partnerships, and other business vehicles, drafting and facilitating various agreements, as well as implementing various forms of corporate reorganizations. Kalen also has complementary experience representing clients on residential and commercial real estate transactions, including residential dwellings, commercial buildings, and farmland.
Kalen earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2019. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelors in Commerce (Finance) with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015.
Kalen grew up on his family farm near Central Butte, Saskatchewan before attending the University of Saskatchewan. Prior to entering law school, Kalen worked as an account manager with E.I. DuPont Canada.
