Attorney Kaitlyn Fudge joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in 2019 and represents plaintiffs in personal injury matters throughout North Carolina. She is based in Durham, North Carolina, where she focuses her practice on advocating for individuals harmed by negligence and defective products.
Kaitlyn earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina, graduating first in her class. During law school, she received 18 academic recognitions, including 13 Book Awards for earning the highest grade in individual courses, three Academic Success Awards for the highest overall grade point average in her class year, an Campbell Law Review outstanding achievement recognition, and the Jessie and Elizabeth Leonard Valedictorian Award. She served as Chief Articles Editor of the Campbell Law Review, was a Pro Bono Project Coordinator, and held executive board positions with both the Campbell Law Review and the Pro Bono Council. Kaitlyn also worked as a teaching scholar. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, graduating magna cum laude.
Before joining the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, Kaitlyn worked as a summer associate at a large law firm representing corporate clients and previously gained experience at a small-town North Carolina law firm assisting individuals with a wide range of legal needs. While in law school, she worked with the Blanchard Community Law Clinic, which provides free legal services to individuals who cannot afford representation, where she was actively involved in managing client matters.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Kaitlyn is committed to serving her local community. She participates in pro bono work through the Middle District of North Carolina’s pro bono program, which connects attorneys with clients in need of representation at trial.
Kaitlyn’s practice includes Mass Tort Litigation and Class Actions for plaintiffs, Personal Injury Litigation for plaintiffs, and Product Liability Litigation for plaintiffs. She is familiar with North Carolina litigation procedures and regularly works on matters involving both pretrial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
