Kaitlyn E. Flynn is a Partner at Rivkin Radler LLP, based in Uniondale, New York, where she is a member of the firm’s Insurance Fraud and Compliance, Investigations & White Collar practice groups. Her practice is concentrated on Insurance Law, including insurance defense and no-fault insurance fraud matters, as well as Corporate Governance and Compliance Law.
Kaitlyn regularly appears in state courts on behalf of insurance carrier clients and manages all phases of litigation. Her work includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, particularly Motions for Summary Judgment. She also conducts Examinations Under Oath of medical providers and claimants, addressing issues such as fraudulent billing practices, improper ownership and control of medical professional corporations, staged accidents, and material misrepresentations relevant to coverage and compliance determinations.
In addition to her private practice, Kaitlyn serves as a Special Professor of Law at Hofstra University School of Law, where she teaches trial advocacy and prepares law students for interscholastic mock trial competitions held nationwide. In recognition of her work with students, she received the Travis H.D. Lewin Best Coaches Award in 2016.
Before joining Rivkin Radler LLP, Kaitlyn worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office. In that role, she prosecuted felony matters from case inception through trial and sentencing, gaining substantial courtroom and litigation experience that informs her current insurance and compliance practice.
