Justin Abrioux is a Partner in the firm’s insurance group. His practice is entirely litigation-based with a focus on insurance defence, professional liability, and insurance coverage.
Justin has extensive experience with complex and high-value personal injury matters in the areas of occupier’s liability and historical sexual abuse claims. He also practices in the area of professional liability, defending hospitals and nurses against medical negligence claims, as well as other lawyers against allegations of professional negligence. Lastly, Justin advises and defends insurers in first-party insurance coverage claims across several sectors.
Justin is an experienced trial lawyer and has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia with a proven track record. Justin works with his clients to drive disputes towards a practical and realistic resolution but is undeterred by the prospect of contesting any unreasonable expectations of other parties at trial.
