Julianne Rothert is certified as a specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. She focuses her practice on all aspects of North Carolina family law litigation and negotiations.
A native of Conway, South Carolina, Julianne received a B.S. in Accounting from Clemson University in 1997. She was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 2002 after having received a Juris Doctor degree cum laude from Campbell University School of Law that same year. While in law school, she served as Editor-at-Large of the Campbell Law Review and was a research assistant for Williston on Contracts, 4th Edition, one of the leading contract law treatises in the nation. Julianne was a member of the Dean Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Team and was an elected member of student government each of her three years of law school.
Julianne was first certified as a specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in 2008 and was recertified in 2013. In addition, she was certified as a Family Financial Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission in 2011, and she frequently serves as a mediator in family law cases.
Julianne was named by Business North Carolina magazine as a Legal Elite in Family Law for 2014 and 2016, a distinction awarded to less than 3% of attorneys statewide. In addition, in 2016, she was included in the 22nd edition of “The Best Lawyers in America” for family law. In addition, in 2016 and 2019, she was included in the list of “The Best Lawyers in America” for family law by U.S. News and World Reports. She is currently a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the Family Law section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
