Julianne Rothert is a North Carolina family law attorney with Triangle Smart Divorce in Cary, North Carolina. She is board certified as a specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and represents clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, mediation, and negotiated settlements.
Originally from Conway, South Carolina, Julianne earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University in 1997. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law in 2002 and was admitted to practice law in North Carolina that same year. During law school, she served as Editor-at-Large of the Campbell Law Review, worked as a research assistant for Williston on Contracts, 4th Edition, and participated on the Dean Jerome Prince Evidence Moot Court Team. She was also elected to student government during each of her three years at Campbell Law School.
Julianne was first certified as a specialist in Family Law by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in 2008 and was recertified in 2013. She was also certified as a Family Financial Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission in 2011. In addition to representing clients throughout North Carolina family law matters, she frequently serves as a mediator in family law disputes.
Her professional recognitions include being named a Legal Elite in Family Law by Business North Carolina magazine in 2014 and 2016. She was also included in multiple editions of “The Best Lawyers in America” for family law.
Julianne is a member of the Wake County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
