Julian Izbiky

Julian Izbiky is a seasoned and respected expert in business law and mergers and acquisitions. He has more than 40 years of experience helping clients start or buy businesses, operate, and eventually sell them. Throughout his career, he has managed numerous M&A transactions, varying in size from several hundred thousand dollars to tens of millions of dollars.

Julian is passionate about helping business owners and takes pride in providing his services in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. That reputation, combined with his empathy for his clients and willingness to be creative to help them achieve their goals, serves as the foundation for the many long-term legal and business relationships he has developed. Over the years, he has become the go-to lawyer for many business brokers, investment bankers, and Small Business Administration lenders.

Julian has an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, considered the gold standard in attorney ratings and only earned by an elite group of approximately 10 percent of all attorneys. In addition, he regularly speaks on business law topics at continuing legal education courses.

Before joining Fortis in 2021, Julian practiced law at Izbiky & Langer PLLC, the firm he founded in 1988. Prior to establishing Izbiky & Langer PLLC, he spent eight years at downtown Denver law firms.
