Client Testimonials

Julia Meister is one of the most diligent, hardworking attorneys that I know. No one surpasses her responsiveness. It gives me peace of mind to know that she is available to handle our most urgent issues.

Julia is an outstanding attorney with good interpersonal skills.

Julia Meister is an excellent practitioner, with experience both in trust and estate administration, as well as probate and trust litigation. She is very understanding and responsive to her clients. However, when circumstances require, she represents her clients' interests with the appropriate zeal.

Steven Dauterman (Fifth Third Bank)

Julia Meister is one of the most responsive and effective attorneys with whom we work. She is extremely knowledgeable about both Trusts & Estates and the associated litigation that arises occasionally. She takes on the toughest issues we face and does so with apparent ease. She is comfortable helping us make difficult decisions and uses her outstanding communication skills to our advantage. I would recommend Julia to anyone at any time without reservation.

Ms. Julia Meister of Taft has provided our corporation with exceedingly insightful and thoughtful recommendations, well-structured arguments to support the advised legal position(s), and has proved to be masterful in her handling of litigation issues in our firm's association with her. She has our highest recommendation in all areas of evaluation solicited.

Wayne Derkac, M.D. (Mid-Atlantic Cardiothoracic)

Norfolk, VA

Julia Meister has the highest personal integrity and values. She is very responsive to client's emergent needs in every case. She is very involved in the community and lives up to her values every day.

As an in-house attorney, I have been working with Julia for several years. Julia's legal skills are excellent, but what has most impressed me as a client is simply her understanding of what a business client requires in his or her outside counsel. Julia understands that prompt responses are not only a benefit, but a requirement in a fast-paced business environment - and her responses take into account business decisions. Her first response is "let's make this happens," as opposed to finding ways to not make something happen like too many lawyers are prone to do. For our company to succeed, we require an outside counsel who has superior legal skills, a mind for business, and excellent client service. Julia is that attorney!
