Judith “Judy” Conway is a personal injury attorney in Chicago, Illinois, with Cooney & Conway LLP. She represents individuals and families affected by serious personal injury and wrongful death, guiding clients through all stages of litigation, from the initial consultation through trial and appeal.
Ms. Conway focuses her practice on asbestos-related personal injury and wrongful death cases, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, lung cancer, and other asbestos-related diseases. She also represents clients in sexual abuse litigation and other complex personal injury matters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Conway has represented hundreds of clients and their families in personal injury and wrongful death claims. She has obtained tens of millions of dollars in settlements in Illinois wrongful death and survival action cases and has served as counsel for plaintiffs in asbestos litigation and sexual abuse litigation across the United States. Her work includes helping obtain a $20 million settlement during closing arguments in a three-week jury trial.
Ms. Conway earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was elected president of the Law School Student Senate. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, completing a triple major in political science, Spanish, and sociology.
She is active in professional and community organizations, including the Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Chicago Federation of Labor, Oak Park River Forest Community Foundation, Notre Dame Club of Chicago, and Michigan Law Alumni Club of Chicago.
