Judith approaches family law matters with a practical mindset focused on reducing unnecessary conflict. By identifying and narrowing disputed issues early, she helps clients save time, emotional strain, and legal expense. This approach reflects what matters most to Judith: allowing clients to preserve their resources and focus on what will truly affect their future. As a happily married mother and grandmother, she brings a grounded perspective to guiding clients through divorce and related family law issues.
Judith’s goal is to help clients build stability and confidence as they move forward after the end of a marriage. She understands that her clients are navigating major life changes and must leave her office prepared to manage a new reality. Her work emphasizes not only financial considerations, but also the practical and emotional challenges of co-parenting, reentering the workforce, and establishing independence. Clients appreciate her steady guidance during a time of transition.
Judith earned her law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1987, following her undergraduate studies in English at the University of Texas. She began her legal career as a commercial litigator at a large Austin law firm, gaining valuable experience in litigation and business matters. After spending several years at home raising her children, she returned to the practice of law and transitioned into Family Law. She has since been recognized as a Texas Monthly “Super Lawyer” each year since 2015 and by Best Lawyers since 2019.
Based in Austin, Texas, Judith practices Family Law with Noelke Maples St. Leger Bryant LLP, representing individuals and families throughout Central Texas. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys time with her family—especially her grandchildren—traveling with her husband, Bill, reading, and writing.
