He recently advised the German Finance Corporation and the Inter-American Investment Corporation on a joint financing for the development of a mine in Sonora. The cross-border financing totaled USD$12 million.
He also recently advised IFC and PROPARCO, whom granted a multilateral credit facility of USD$65 million, an unprecedented event in Mexico, as well as on a complex, associated security structure covering the company’s biological assets; and Commerzbank and Deutsche Bank on a €180 million loan to Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
In collaboration with Ricardo Orea he also handled a series of loans on behalf of Germany’s DEG, including USD$14.5 million to CHG Meridian, USD$25m to Ingenio San Rafael de Pucte and Beta San Miguel; MXN$543.5 million to Benteler de Mexico; and USD$41 million to Grupo TMM.

Provided legal advice to Hunt Oil during its government procurement process within the First Round organized by the National Hydrocarbon Commission and the Ministry of Energy.
