Josh Rosen is an experienced corporate and securities lawyer who helps clients build their business, raise capital and navigate the Canadian capital markets.

Josh brings more than a decade of experience with national and international law firms to expand the Pulse Law platform to Toronto.

Josh works collaboratively with clients ranging in size from startups to public companies operating in the technology, life sciences, cannabis, mining, and entertainment sectors. He brings extensive expertise and a practical approach to a wide range of transactions, including going public transactions, equity financing transactions, public and private M&A transactions, venture capital and private equity transactions, and on corporate governance and continuous disclosure matters.

Much of Josh’s experience is international in scope, working with clients active in Canada, the United States, Israel and Europe. He has taken numerous emerging and growth companies public on the Toronto Stock Exchange, the TSX Venture Exchange and the Canadian Securities Exchange via IPO, reverse takeover, direct listing and capital pool transactions.

Josh is an enthusiastic supporter of the Toronto tech and life sciences ecosystems, regularly participating in events and speaking engagements with early and growth stage companies, entrepreneurs, investors and capital markets professionals.

Canadian Securities Regulators Breathe New LIFE into the Canadian Capital Markets


The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) have introduced additional flexibility under the listed issuer financing exemption (the “LIFE Exemption”) through Coordinated Blanket Order 45-935, allowing more public companies to raise greater amounts using a simplified process.
