Joseph N. "Joe" Williams

• $14.5 million defamation verdict against State Farm Joe represented a roofer who was falsely accused of insurance fraud, securing the largest defamation verdict in Indiana history after demonstrating that key evidence had been withheld and altered.

• $3 million verdict for medical device injury Joe represented a former school bus driver who suffered injuries caused by a defective Cook Medical IVC filter.

Joe’s trial results have been covered by national and regional publications, including USA Today, the Indianapolis Business Journal, Law.com, and the Indianapolis Star.

Joe earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. While in law school, he received the Tennessee Bar Association’s Access to Justice Law Student of the Year award in 2004 in recognition of his commitment to serving individuals facing significant legal challenges.
