Joseph D. “Joe” Newbold is the chair of O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing S.C.’s Litigation Practice Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation involving software class actions, commercial disputes, real estate, products liability, banking, intellectual property, and antitrust matters. His practice includes Commercial Litigation, Litigation - Real Estate, and Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs.
Joe represents businesses, individuals, and other parties in a range of challenging litigation matters. He has been selected for inclusion in Wisconsin Super Lawyers for six consecutive years.
Before joining O’Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong & Laing S.C., Joe was an associate at Freeborn & Peters LLP in Chicago, Illinois, where he worked on patent prosecution, appellate litigation, and products liability matters. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joe Billy McDade in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois and to the Honorable Donald G. Wilkerson in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
