Jonathan is also a former judicial law clerk for the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and he focuses a portion of his practice specifically on family law appeals.

Jonathan is recognized as a leader within North Carolina’s family law bar. As a three-term, at-large member of the Raleigh City Council and former Mayor Pro Tem, he helped shape policy for one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities. Jonathan served as chair of the City Council’s Economic Development and Innovation Committee and was the city’s representative to the North Carolina League of Municipalities.

Jonathan graduated from the Honors Program of North Carolina State University in 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science.
