Jon S. Jacobs

Attorney Jon S. Jacobs is the founding partner of Law Office of Jon S. Jacobs, LLLC, and has practiced law in Honolulu, Hawaii for more than 20 years. He represents plaintiffs in Personal Injury Litigation and Product Liability Litigation, focusing on helping injured individuals and families pursue fair compensation under Hawaii law. Mr. Jacobs is known for providing attentive, client-centered representation and for taking the time to understand each client’s circumstances and legal goals.

Mr. Jacobs is a member of the Hawaii Association for Justice and remains actively involved in serving the Hawaii community. His work in personal injury litigation has been recognized by Honolulu Magazine, where he has been listed among its “Best Lawyers” in personal injury law. He is also listed in “The Best Lawyers in America®” for personal injury litigation.

From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Jacobs served on active duty as an Army officer assigned to the 1st Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas. During his military service, he was deployed in support of U.S. missions overseas and achieved the rank of Captain before leaving active duty to attend law school.

Mr. Jacobs began his legal career in Honolulu in 2004, serving for four years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the City and County of Honolulu. Assigned primarily to the Career Criminal Division, he developed substantial courtroom and jury trial experience. He later spent six years practicing insurance defense law, gaining insight into how personal injury and product liability claims are evaluated and defended.

In 2013, Mr. Jacobs founded the Law Office of Jon S. Jacobs to represent personal injury victims throughout Hawaii, including residents of Honolulu and visitors to the islands. His practice is dedicated to advocating for individuals harmed by negligence and defective products, with a focus on accountability and fair outcomes under the law.
