John Sullivan

John is an associate in Holland & Hart's government investigations practice group and its complex civil litigation practice group.

John previously served in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Montana. He prosecuted a wide variety of federal offenses while working closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, and various state and local law enforcement agencies. John has also briefed and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He counsels companies and individuals in complex civil litigation matters and in all stages of government investigations, including those by grand juries, the Department of Justice, and state and federal agencies.

Before joining Holland & Hart, John served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam E. Haddon of the United States District Court for the District of Montana.
