Mr. Alexander is an attorney with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC in Nashville, Tennessee. He focuses his practice on Litigation - Health Care and Medical Malpractice Law - Defendants, representing physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers in complex litigation and regulatory matters. His work includes defending healthcare professionals in medical malpractice claims, handling insurance defense and insurance coverage disputes, and representing clients before Tennessee medical and professional licensing boards. Mr. Alexander also litigates a variety of business and contract disputes.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Alexander served as a law clerk to Judge Holly M. Kirby of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section, where he assisted with appellate matters involving a wide range of civil issues. The experience provided him with valuable insight into appellate procedure and judicial decision-making that informs his litigation practice.
Mr. Alexander is a member of the firm’s Malpractice Group and Tort and Insurance Group. From 2020 to 2023, he served on the firm’s Board of Directors and continues to contribute to internal committees that support the firm’s operational and strategic initiatives. He also serves as the firm’s Privacy Security Officer, overseeing HIPAA compliance matters and advising on healthcare privacy and security issues affecting healthcare organizations.
Based in Nashville, Mr. Alexander represents healthcare providers and businesses across Tennessee in litigation, regulatory proceedings, and risk management matters.
