John O. Alexander IV

Mr. Alexander is an attorney with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC in Nashville, Tennessee. He joined the Firm after serving as a law clerk to Judge Holly M. Kirby of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Western Section. His practice is focused on Litigation - Health Care and Medical Malpractice Law - Defendants, with an emphasis on defending physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. Mr. Alexander also handles insurance defense and insurance coverage matters, represents healthcare professionals before Tennessee medical and licensing boards, and litigates a range of contract disputes. He is a member of the Firm’s Malpractice Group and Tort and Insurance Group.

From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Alexander served on the Firm’s Board of Directors. He remains actively involved in internal committees that support the Firm’s operational and strategic needs and serves as the Firm’s Privacy Security Officer, overseeing HIPAA compliance matters. His work reflects a continued commitment to serving healthcare clients throughout Nashville and across Tennessee.
