John E. McCann, Jr. is a principal in the firm's Commercial and Business Litigation practice group. He has extensive experience with complex commercial litigation and counsels clients across a broad spectrum of issues including: antitrust litigation, software licensing disputes, patent and trademark litigation, commercial real estate disputes, dealer termination litigation and other forms of general contract and business tort disputes. Although his practice extends to a variety of commercial and business litigation, the primary focus of Jack's practice is antitrust litigation and counsel. He has counseled manufacturers, distributors, petroleum companies, telecommunications companies, transportation companies, health care providers and trade associations on a wide range of antitrust and trade regulation issues in the context of both private civil litigation and administrative enforcement. Although the major focus of his antitrust practice involves litigation, he also provides proactive antitrust advice directed toward finding solutions that support the client's strategic business objectives and competitive goals, while fully meeting applicable federal and state antitrust requirements.
