Client Testimonials

John Hardcastle is very quick and knowledgeable in the health care arena. He grasps the business principles and health care implications of legal issues saving time and dollars.

Jay has been invaluable with his expertise in health care. He has forgotten more than most of us know in this area. He is responsive and represents his clients very well.

Clete Walker (Surgical Care Affiliates)

Jay has a deep knowledge of our business and industry. Jay is particularly effective because he gives practical advice and does not "overlawyer" matters. This makes him more cost effective than his peers.

Jay Hardcastle is what we in Texas call "the real deal." His superior technical skills - in a very complex area of the law - are just table stakes. What makes him extraordinary is his ability to resolve even the knottiest problems with creativity and practicality. Add to that an unflappable demeanor and a wry sense of humor, and you have an indispensable legal resource. That's why we turn to Jay again and again for advice and counsel.

Rebecca Hurley (Triad Hospitals, Inc.)

Plano, TX

In the almost 20 years that I have worked with Jay, he has been an invaluable partner to our organization and has assisted me personally with countless opportunities and challenges. It has not been our approach to rely on counsel to simply "draw up the papers" or "review the contracts for signature." Jay, an excellent representative of the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings team, is often with us at the table when opportunities are at the "twinkle-in-the-eye" stage, or when potential problems are little more than a distant "speck" on the horizon. Our investment in that early involvement has allowed us to benefit from Jay's vast healthcare experience, superb regulatory knowledge, and great practical insight. Over the years, he has assisted us in "design," "transaction," "re-tool" and "unwind" phases of various projects and key strategic initiatives. He has consistently been responsive when timetables are beyond our control - with an ideal balance of well-reasoned counsel and innovative approaches.
