João Gutierres

João Gutierres joined Cerejeira Namora, Marinho Falcão in 2023, where he works mainly in the Corporate (Companies and Commercial) area. He also has extensive experience in Civil and Commercial Litigation.

He graduated in Law from the Porto Law School of the Portuguese Catholic University, and he also did a post-graduation in Urban Planning and Environmental Law from the University of Coimbra Law School.

Fluent in four languages, he has a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge, as well as the Diplôme Supérieur d'Études Francaises, from the Institut Français de Porto – Ambassade de France au Portugal.

He was a lawyer for more than 15 years at CNA/Andersen, where he practiced in the areas of Commercial and Corporate Law, with a special focus on international matters, having also taken on the coordination of Civil and Commercial Litigation. Previously he practiced as a solo practitioner in a family office.
