Joan’s domestic litigation practice includes actions for divorce and post-divorce issues of custody, child support, alimony and equitable division; the legitimation of children born out of wedlock, termination of parental rights and adoption; appellate work in Georgia and South Carolina concerning all of these disputes, and frequent UCCJEA jurisdictional disputes between a parent in Georgia or South Carolina and a parent in another state.
