As an associate in Barack Ferrazzano’s Corporate & Securities and Luxury Groups, Jim strives to understand his clients’ operations and business objectives to provide them with thoughtful, world-class counseling and guidance on transactional, corporate and securities law matters.

Jim’s representation often takes the form of providing his clients’ with practical, efficient, and creative solutions to achieve their most crucial strategic goals, including counseling his clients through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments.

Jim advises clients across a wide range of industries, such as technology, consumer goods, fashion and luxury brands, and venture capital funds, and is able to provide his clients with advice on a variety of issues at the intersection of corporate law, including intellectual property and trademark licensing agreements and due diligence.

Before joining the firm, Jim advised private equity sponsors and public and private companies on a variety of corporate and capital market transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public securities offerings, special purpose acquisition company formations (SPACs) and general corporate governance and securities law matters at Kirkland & Ellis.
