Jillian Blumenthal is a commercial litigation and maritime attorney with Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman, P.A. in Coral Gables, Florida. She was recognized in “Best Lawyers in America® – Ones to Watch 2027” for her work in litigation matters.
Jillian represents individuals involved in maritime and cruise ship accident claims, drawing on a broad litigation background developed through her work on complex disputes in both private practice and public service. Her practice includes commercial litigation, maritime and admiralty matters, products liability litigation, employment disputes, and other high-stakes civil litigation.
Before joining Lipcon, Margulies & Winkleman, P.A., Jillian practiced at a national AmLaw 200 law firm, where she handled a wide range of litigation matters involving complex business disputes, medical device products liability claims, white collar criminal defense, and employment discrimination cases. Her experience managing multifaceted cases and advocating in challenging litigation environments provides valuable perspective in representing clients facing serious maritime and cruise ship injury claims.
Jillian earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where she concentrated in Finance and Strategy & Management Consulting. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she served as a Staff Editor for the Inter-American Law Review and received multiple academic honors, including two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement for Overall Excellence in Civil Procedure.
While attending law school, Jillian interned with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. After graduation, she joined the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted domestic violence cases and developed substantial courtroom and trial experience advocating on behalf of individuals facing difficult circumstances.
Today, Jillian continues that commitment to advocacy by representing clients in maritime, cruise ship, and commercial litigation matters throughout Florida from the firm’s Coral Gables office.
