Jessica Zeratsky is a Shareholder in the Commercial, Employment and Government Law Practice Group. Jessica spends a significant portion of her practice partnering with her clients on commercial/creditor rights, banking and commercial finance, public finance, bankruptcy, and real estate matters. Specifically, Jessica focuses on loan documentation, work-outs, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, business restructuring, and general debtor and creditor law. She represents financial institutions and other lenders, privately held and publicly traded businesses, school districts and government authorities.
Jessica was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law (2020). Three times, she has been recognized by Wisconsin Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star(SM) in the area of Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights. In 2017, Jessica was named an Emerging Leader by the Waukesha County Business Alliance (view video). Additionally, in 2011, the Wisconsin Law Journal recognized Jessica as an “Up & Coming Lawyer.”
She is a member (and the Secretary) of the Board of Directors for the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, a cultural arts center located in Brookfield, where she also Chairs the Education Committee. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Penfield Children’s Center, and has served on the Planning Committee for its Croquet Ball for many years. Penfield provides early education, health and wellness services and family programs to children with and without disabilities. Jessica is also an avid supporter of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, where she is a member of the Women’s Leadership Council and is an Emerging Leader. Additionally, Jessica is a member of the Turnaround Management Association Chicago/Midwest Chapter, the Wisconsin Chapter of Women in Public Finance, the Milwaukee Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
