His experience includes multimillion-dollar contract claims, partnership and corporate governance disputes, business dissolutions, fraud and conspiracy claims, wage disputes, and matters involving non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. He also handles commercial and residential landlord-tenant disputes and litigation involving developers and land use conflicts.

For contractors and subcontractors, Jesse assists with the establishment and enforcement of mechanics’ liens and represents clients in arbitration and litigation involving payment disputes and construction-related claims. He also defends contractors against allegations of defective work and related property owner claims.

Litigation - Real Estate

Jesse represents property owners, purchasers, developers, landlords, and neighboring landowners in a variety of real estate disputes. His experience includes adverse possession claims, encroachment disputes, trespass matters, construction-related property damage claims, and water runoff litigation. He has also defended clients in claims involving alleged fraud, concealed defects, and mold-related issues arising from real estate transactions.

His real estate litigation practice includes representing clients in disputes involving commercial and residential properties throughout Maryland and the surrounding region.

Estate Litigation

In trust and estate litigation matters, Jesse represents trustees, personal representatives, beneficiaries, and other interested parties in disputes involving fiduciary duties, asset management, undue influence, capacity issues, and allegations of waste of estate or trust assets. He has also represented nonprofit organizations in disputes involving the cy pres doctrine and contested trust and will matters.

Jesse has been appointed by courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia to serve as guardian and conservator in intervention proceedings, and he has served as guardian ad litem in matters involving individuals alleged to be incapacitated.

Earlier in his career, Jesse focused on mental health and disability law while representing individuals with disabilities at University Legal Services, the Protection and Advocacy organization for the District of Columbia. He continues to remain involved in matters affecting individuals who require guardianship and conservatorship assistance.

Jesse earned his J.D. from New York Law School and his B.A. from American University. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and New York.
