Biography
Jeremy Brinster represents clients in complex civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels, with a particular emphasis on Administrative Procedure Act, constitutional, and education-related litigation. He has authored briefs and dispositive motions at all levels of state and federal court, including the US Supreme Court. His clients include universities, school boards, technology companies, healthcare providers, and trade associations in a variety of fields. He has successfully argued a motion for summary judgment on behalf of a university client in federal district court.
Mr. Brinster also maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on LGBTQ issues and the constitutional rights of criminal defendants. Prior to rejoining the firm, he clerked for the Honorable Gregg Costa of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. While in law school, he served as an articles editor of the New York University Law Review and a research assistant for Professor Melissa Murray.
