Biography
Jeremy N. Trousdale is a shareholder in the firm’s Birmingham (AL) office. Jeremy focuses his practice on defending workers’ compensation claims. He represents both self-insured clients and insurance carriers.
A frequent speaker, Jeremy regularly presents current information on workers’ compensation issues for the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Organization, where he served as president (2015-2016), and the Alabama Self Insured Association. He frequently conducts in-house educational updates for several insurance carriers and third-party administrators on workers’ compensation. Jeremy is an AV Preeminent® rated attorney through Martindale-Hubbell® and has been listed to The Best Lawyers in America® since 2014 in the areas of workers’ compensation and insurance law.
Jeremy is admitted to practice before the US District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama and the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Society. Previously, Jeremy was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and Cumberland School of Law Trial Advocacy Board.
Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in communications and political science from the University of North Alabama and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (AL). He is also a member of Cumberland School of Law Curia Honoris, for his superior academic achievement.
Outside of the office, Jeremy enjoys traveling and serving on the Board of the Magic City Art Connection.
