Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to entering private practice, she worked for the Joint Committee on Legislative Research and the Missouri Department of Revenue. She primarily practices in the areas of business litigation, administrative law and advertising. She also drafts legislation and regulations. Jennifer represents profit and nonprofit businesses, as well as individuals, counties and cities.
Jennifer counsels clients regarding business activities and issues, and litigates civil cases before state and federal trial and appellate courts.
She represents clients in all types of administrative and regulatory matters before local, state and federal departments, agencies, boards and commissions. These matters often involve registrations, permits, and licenses, asserted violations of state and federal law, and disputes over government decisions, contracts and awards.
Jennifer advises clients concerning the conduct of promotional activities such as contests, sweepstakes, raffles and loyalty programs, and assists developing compliant promotional rules and associated marketing materials.
