Jennifer F. West

Jennifer West guides developers and institutional investors in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions across the United States. She focuses on identifying practical solutions that move transactions forward while also keeping her client’s best interest in mind to facilitate building multiyear, multideal relationships with her clients.

A partner in Alston & Bird’s Real Estate Group, Jennifer guides transactions including acquisitions, financings, leases, and dispositions of commercial real estate across all asset classes nationwide, with a focus on representing institutional investors and developers. She has significant experience leading complex multistate portfolio transactions.

Jennifer is an active community volunteer focused on greenspace preservation and community enhancement, recently leading a multiyear effort with City of Atlanta to develop Armand Park, a new neighborhood park and playground in the Buckhead area. Jennifer serves on the board of directors for South Fork Conservancy Inc. and is a member of Urban Land Institute’s Center for Leadership Class of 2020.

Before law school, Jennifer gained commercial real estate experience working as a financial analyst for an asset management and loan servicing company.
