Biography
Environmental lawyer Jennifer Baker guides commercial and industrial clients and landowners through virtually all phases of remediation projects and environmental litigation. She assists clients in resolving their contaminated site issues, as well as provides strategic, cost-effective approaches to addressing potential and existing environmental liabilities and demands.
Jennifer practices as part of the firm’s Environmental Department, which has been frequently recognized as Tier 1 for national environmental litigation in the annual "Best Law Firms" ranking by U.S. News and Best Lawyers.
Jennifer's principal area of practice focuses on representing commercial and industrial clients and landowners in remediation projects. Jennifer’s experience includes providing assistance with environmental issues arising from active operations during the course of real estate transactions and redevelopment activities, and from legacy environmental concerns.
Jennifer’s work also includes brownfields projects and underground storage tank matters and environmental and cost recovery litigation in both federal and state arenas.
Notably, Jennifer worked as a law clerk at the Bonneville Power Administration in Portland, Oregon, and as a summer national forests program assistant at The Wilderness Society in Washington, D.C. While at Bucknell University, she was a member of the varsity crew team.
