Jeff is an associate in the Business Transactions Group, where he focuses on corporate transactional work, including middle market M&A and investment management transactions. Jeff’s practice covers a broad range of matters for clients, including corporate formation, corporate governance and drafting shareholder agreements, operating agreements, confidentiality agreements and other arrangements.
Prior to joining Seward & Kissel, Jeff was an associate in the Corporate & Securities Group at one of the largest law firms in the State of New Jersey. Jeff’s past experience in litigation, including through a judicial clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union Vicinage, gives him a unique approach to contract drafting and negotiation, providing him insight into potential pitfalls and how to prevent them.
Jeff has been named as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch every year since 2020, which recognizes attorneys who are early in their career for outstanding professional excellence in private practice in America.
Jeff received a B.S. from Indiana University – Bloomington in 2011 and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 2014, where he served as a member of the Hunter Moot Court program. Jeff is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
